The Moku app/GUI is currently only available for Windows, MacOS, and iPadOS. Unfortunately, it is not yet available for Linux-based OSs, including any Debian-based distributions such as Ubuntu or Linux Mint, and others.
However, Moku devices can still be operated using APIs and MokuCLI, a command-line utility for Moku hardware. Since the release of MokuOS 4.0, MokuCLI is now required for API use. Please see this knowledge base article for more details on how to setup MokuCLI and the APIs. Linux systems also require either:
- Creating a symbolic link to
mokucli
in the/usr/local/bin
directory, or - Setting the
MOKU_CLI_PATH
environment variable to the absolute path ofmokucli

APIs have all of the same functionality as the Moku app and are offered in Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW. Please see this REST API page for more details on how to configure instruments without the Moku app.
