Moku firmware can be updated from either the iPad or desktop app. Liquid Instruments continuously adds improvements to both the Moku app and the Moku firmware. It is recommended to update to the latest releases.
When a firmware update is available, there will be an orange exclamation indicator next to the Moku icon. This typically happens after a new software release and update. See "How do I know if my Moku app is up to date?"
Tap, or click, on the device icon, you will be prompted to update your Moku. This can be done over WiFi, Ethernet, or USB-C.
Once you have initiated the firmware update, you will receive a pop-up message similar to the one below :
Take care to not turn off your Moku before it has finished updating the firmware. Once the LEDs have stopped flashing, it is safe to power down your Moku and restart. Typically, Moku will restart automatically once the firmware update is complete.
